Product Description
We are a trusted provider of high-precision cold drawn steel shafts, catering to both custom designs and bulk orders. We excel in producing solid shafts up to 6.00" in diameter (including 6-inch NEMA spline submersible pump shafts, with centerless grinding or machining options) and straight-ground tubular shafts up to 1.25" in diameter. Our standard outer diameter tolerance is 0.001 inches, and the standard cut-to-length tolerance is 0.005 inches, ensuring exceptional accuracy for every product.
We maintain abundant inventory of CD 1045 steel bars to guarantee delivery within four weeks or less, even for orders ranging from 1 to over 1000 shafts. Beyond CD 1045, we also supply shafts made from most other grades of materials, including stainless steel and CD4140, to meet diverse application requirements. Standard configurations include rounded keyways with widths ranging from 0.1875 inches to 0.750 inches and a fillet radius of 0.005 inches, designed for efficient energy transmission between machine components.
Application
Our precision cold drawn steel shafts are widely applied across multiple industries, with a primary focus on motor applications (stepper, brushless DC, servo, three-phase motors) and submersible pump systems—our 6-inch NEMA spline submersible pump shafts are specially engineered for reliable performance in underwater environments. They also serve critical roles in marine submersibles, water pumps, HVAC systems, and various industrial machinery. Specialized shafts like eccentric shafts drive linear motions (such as valve regulation and hydraulic cylinder operations) and power vibration equipment (including vibration tables, grain sieves, and solid medium processing machines) used in powder alloy manufacturing, chemical production, agriculture, and food processing.
